Liliana Li, Executive Director
Liliana graduated with a Master in Social Work and started her career in San Francisco. She then moved on to doing labor organizing with SEIU Local 616 of Alameda County, advocating on behalf of low-income immigrant workers. San Jose has become her new home where she is committed to youth leadership development, immigrant rights, educational equity, and the empowerment of underrepresented communities.

Karla has over ten years experience in the administration and customer services field. Karla has a degree in cosmetology and is currently working towards pursuing her degree in Administrative Justice.

Janice Casil

Janice graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Psychology from the University of San Francisco. She is a former Americorps member and the former After School Programs Coordinator for the Mountain View-Whisman School District. In her spare time, Janice is an Organizer with South Bay First Thursdays and a Volunteer Coach for a team of young girls for Girls for a Change. Janice aspires to be a policy analyst and community policy advocate

Linda Pham

Linda graduated with honors from UC Santa Cruz with a degree in Sociology. She was an AmeriCorps member and a Program Coordinator for the Japantown Community Congress. Linda is currently pursuing a Master in Public Health with a concentration in Community Health at San Jose State University. She is also involved with South Bay First Thursdays.

Alan Miyakawa

Alan worked for Vision New America from 2005-07 and played a critical role in launching the Public Health and Policy Internship program. In 2007, Alan left VNA to backpack throughout Asia. He's back and excited to be rejoining the organization. He holds a BA in Psychology from UC Irvine.

Christine Ngo is a proud DeAnza College & UC Santa Cruz alumna. Go Banana Slugs!! She's a former Dan Than Corps Member (AmeriCorps) and project coordinator for ICAN, a nonprofit organization serving Vietnamese children and families in the United States & Vietnam. She loved her service year so much she's continuing another year of service with Public Allies Silicon Valley (AmeriCorps) and Vision New America. She is thrilled to be a part of an organization dedicated to youth leadership development and community empowerment.

Christine's thoughts on community engagement:
