BAY AREA PROGRAMS provide an opportunity for local high school and college students to develop leadership skills and become more civically engaged.
PROGRAM COMPONENTS

Leadership Development Trainings
Students who are admitted into the program take part in VNA trainings and an intensive 4-unit, college-level course led by APALI.
Dates: April 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, and May 2

Internship Placement
Students are matched with an internship office for 100 hours (high school) or 160 hours (college) over the course of 10 weeks during the summer.

Community Engagement Project
Students work with their peers to organize a service project meant to engage and provide resources to a specific local community.
*
Voter Registration
Students register 15 new voters.
