About Us
Started in 1996, Vision New America’s mission is to increase the civic participation of underrepresented groups, starting in the Asian Pacific American community. With that mission in mind, Vision New America offers over 60 summer internships in elected official offices and government agencies.

Students are placed in offices on a local, state, or federal level in either the Bay Area, Sacramento, or Washington D.C. Internships are specifically catered to high school, college, and graduate students. Combined with community service, voter registration, and leadership development courses, each internship program exposes students to the inner workings of government and public policy.

In addition, all interns who successfully complete the internship program recieve a scholarship.
